Global Growth of U.S. Wealth Surges
According to the UBS, global wealth saw a healthy increase in 2024, rising by 4.6%—and North America led the way. According to the newly released Global Wealth Report 2025, the United States played a central role in this momentum, contributing the majority of the growth thanks to a strong dollar, thriving financial markets, and overall economic resilience. While other regions like Asia-Pacific and Europe experienced more modest gains, the U.S. stood out as a major engine of global prosperity.
On average, adults in North America held the highest wealth levels in the world at over $593,000, with the U.S. continuing to rank among the top nations for individual net worth. Even more striking, the number of U.S. dollar millionaires grew by more than 379,000—adding more than 1,000 new millionaires each day. This upward trend underscores the economic vitality of the American market and signals strong future potential for growth, investment, and property ownership.
We’re seeing a generational shift in global wealth distribution. For the first time, the number of people with wealth between $10,000 and $100,000 has surpassed those in the sub-$10,000 bracket—a sign of rising financial security around the world. Yet it’s the U.S. that remains the global benchmark, with projections showing continued upward movement in average wealth over the next five years.
For homeowners, investors, and anyone keeping an eye on long-term financial trends, these numbers are encouraging. They point to a robust foundation for future growth, opportunity, and wealth creation—especially here in the United States.
